Review: The Casagrande’s “Curse of the Candy Goblin”
Overview
When Carl takes trick or treating too far, he must return his candy to the neighborhood Goblin…
Our Take
This time around we have a Halloween special that’s devoted completely to a half-hour with much of the running time focusing on two separate storylines within the narrative.
One focused on the kids facing the consequences of being greedy on trick-or-treating, while the separate subplot focused on Vito trying to get the perfect costume due to some bizarre unspoken rule that two people can’t share the same costume for some reason. The humor was well-paced, the jokes excelled, and later in the story, there were actual stakes and a sense of urgency.
Overall a decent Halloween episode. It’s possibly the second time they’ve devoted one episode to an entire half-hour as opposed to the standard format that’s often seen on Cartoon Network and other shows there they have two 15-min episodes to cram of a specific show, but at the very least it had a funny twist at the end.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
