English Dub Review: Back Arrow “Does People’s Anger Reach God?”
Overview
As the Granedger’s loss shatters Elsha’s confidence, the world strikes back at the pawns of God who orchestrated all the chaos and destruction…
Our Take
Finally, they move on the attention to Rudolph. It’s about time, they are working together! However, as the last villain, Rudolph comes across as overpowered as you’d expect a “Final Boss” to supposedly feel. He then controlled Arrow, as expected.
I should also point out that the art was incredibly inconsistent because this episode had some of the most 2D mech shots we have had in the show, but it also had some of the worst character art designs this time around, so I think the animation team behind it got a little too ambitious and didn’t have the time to correct some of the off-model faces making this feel like a rush-job.
Overall, with the exception of the randomly bad animation in specific places, this served as a pretty solid episode. We got a mix of character development for a couple of individuals including Bit himself, he was already not as bad as I initially thought he was in the beginning. It was also nice to see the build-up and foreshadowing show the actual storytelling payoff. While it does suggest Shu Bi is staying possibly dead, at least for now, I think the trade-off is working so far…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
