The Bob’s Burgers Movie Gets Memorial Day 2022 Bow

The long-awaited The Bob’s Burgers Movie has an official release date of Memorial Day weekend 2022, or May 27th, 2022 in theaters everywhere.

The upcoming American animated musical comedy film based on the television series Bob’s Burgers created by Loren Bouchard, who wrote, produced will make his directorial debut on a project that will see the entirety of the show’s cast set to make their return.

Plot details are scarce, but there have been reports of a subplot that will involve Louise and her night light Kuchi Kopi inside her fantasy world, however, Loren Bouchard has noted the film will “scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had”, while also appealing to new audiences. Some of the production work was done remotely as a result of COVID-19 restrictions and will feature the final animation work of both Tuck Tucker and Dale Baer, both whom have since passed.

Before the film comes out, Bob’s Burgers returns to FOX television on September 26th @ 9 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.
