Injustice, an all-new, feature-length DC Animated Movie from Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, arrives October 19, 2021 on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and Digital.

Inspired by Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm Studios’ popular video game, and the best-selling DC graphic novel based on the video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One by Tom Taylor, the animated film Injustice stars Justin Hartley (This is Us, Smallville) and Anson Mount (Star Trek Discovery, Hell on Wheels) as Superman and Batman, respectively. Paramount+ has announced that two South Park feature-length movies will be released before the end of the year. Two more movies will be released yearly between now and 2027 all according to Paramount streaming chief Tanya Giles who made the announcement yesterday at the TCA panel.

Show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker recently made a landmark extension deal with ViacomCBS that will see a litany of movies, specials, and seasons coming to pass. Additional extensions of the brand on the way include cannabis, merch, and even the take over of the Casa Bonita restaurant which was an inspiration for the South Park episode of the same name.


Netflix has announced that they have picked up streaming and theatrical rights to a new animated feature film The Summit of the Gods. The film was directed and written by Patrick Imbert and is inspired by the manga by Jiro Taniguchi and Baku Yumemakura. The film will get theatrical premiere dates in time for the Academy Awards run-up on both November 24th and 26th in select theaters with a streaming debut on November 30th.

Synopsis:

Were George Mallory and his companion Andrew Irvine the first men to scale Everest on June 8th, 1924? Only the little Kodak camera they took with them might reveal the truth. In Kathmandu, 70 years later, a young Japanese reporter named Fukamachi recognizes the camera in the hands of the mysterious Habu Jôji, an outcast climber believed missing for years. Fukamachi enters a world of obsessive mountaineers hungry for impossible conquests on a journey that leads him, step by step, towards the summit of the gods.
