HBO MAX Issues First-Look At “Ten-Year-Old Tom”
Set to premiere on September 30th for HBO MAX will be a brand-new adult animated comedy entitled Ten-Year-Old-Tom. Ten episodes are on the way for the Steve Dildarian-created/voiced series and you can check out the first trailer below.
Dildarian plays the lead character Tom alongside a talented cast of actors and comedians including Byron Bowers, Todd Glass, Gillian Jacobs, Edi Patterson and John Malkovich with guest appearances by David Duchovny, Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Lyonne, Mark Proksch, Tim Robinson, George Wallace and more.
Synopsis:
Tom grapples with being corrupted by the grownups around him each day just by leaving his house. Bad influences seem to lurk around every corner… litigious parents, drug dealing bus drivers and band teachers who want to sleep with his mom. If he sets up a lemonade stand, he gets sued for gross negligence. If he plays baseball, he is encouraged to “dabble with roids.” And if he visits the school nurse, he is introduced to the world of insurance fraud. The grown ups in Tom’s life all mean well, but somehow just can’t manage to lead by example.
Critically acclaimed creator, producer and writer Steve Dildarian (The Life and Times of Tim) is writer, executive producer and lead voice of the series. TV animation veteran Nick Weidenfeld (The Boondocks, Rick & Morty) also executive produces along with Marty Adelstein (Hanna, Cowboy Bebop) and Becky Clements (Snowpiercer, Physical) of Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partnership). ITV Studios handles international distribution of the series.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
