Comedy Central To Premiere First-Two Episodes Of “The Harper House” Same Day As Paramount+ Debut
Networks will attempt to get new viewers in a number of different ways rather than JUST streaming or JUST linear premieres. This last month alone Adult Swim has posted the first episodes of Teenage Euthanasia and Fena: Pirate Princess on their Youtube channel, and now Comedy Central has announced that they will feature the linear premiere of Paramount+ on September 16th @ Midnight ET/PT (check your local listings). Comedy Central will premiere the first two episodes of the series that will also be part of the show’s season premiere on Paramount+.
THE HARPER HOUSE follows an overconfident female head of a household as she struggles to regain a higher status for herself and for her family of oddballs after losing her job and moving from the rich side to the poor side of a small town in Arkansas. To save money, they’ve moved into their inherited Victorian fixer-upper, the historic Harper House.
The series is produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ new animation arm, in association with 219 Productions. Titmouse (“Big Mouth”), the Emmy Award-winning independent animation production company, serves as the animation studio for the series.
The Adult Animated Comedy Series Features an All-Star Voice Cast Including Rhea Seehorn, Jason Lee, Tatiana Maslany, Ryan Flynn, Gabourey Sidibe, Gary Anthony Williams, Nyima Funk, VyVy Nguyen and Lance Krall and the first two episodes are entitled “The Harper House” and “Conflicting Parenting Books” and you can watch a trailer below.
