English Dub Review: Shadows House “In the Palm of His Hand”

Overview:

Slowly but surely everyone is finding their masters. Lou found Louise, and with Emilico’s help, Rum is close to finding Shirley. Emilico seems to be close to finding Kate but will she make it in time?

Our Take(Possible Spoilers):

More questions!!!! I hope at least some of them get answered. What are the shadows? Where do they come from? Edward just threw a huge wrench in any theories I had. While playing his piano he was eventually covered in the same soot that comes off the shadow masters. So was he a shadow master all along? Or is this some sort of ascension? I really hope we learn but luckily this is only episode eight so there’s still time.

Emilico is one of the purest souls I have ever seen. Rum is afraid that Shirley hates her or at the very least doesn’t care about her at all. Emilico manages to calm her down and make her realize that, that might not be exactly true. Perhaps Shirley just isn’t great at expressing her emotions. I hope we get some long-awaited reunions in the next episode. Emilico and Kate is the main one but I would like to see how Rum and Shirley’s go as well.

Lou found her shadow master Louise while being accompanied by Ricky. While they were enjoying being reunited Ricky had the thought of pushing them into a pit. That was the last we saw of them this episode, I really hope he didn’t. I already dislike Ricky and Patrick enough as it is. Don’t need to add anything else to the list of reasons. I guess it was too much to hope for that working with Lou would have mellowed him out a bit.

Kate is in a cage but for some reason when her soot goes into the vent it makes the chains holding the cage release. Soot is released from being anxious among other things so the more chains get loose the more anxious she gets. Talk about a lose-lose situation. Luckily it seems like Emilico is close by. I hope we get some answers next week, but either way Shadows House knows how to keep me intrigued.
