Disney Channel Announces Premiere Date/Time For “The Ghost and Molly McGee”
October sweeps is one of the busiest time of the year for the kids networks (gotta sell that candy!) and Disney has struck first with the announcement of a brand-new animated series coming the first of the month. Enter the series premiere of The Ghost and Molly McGee which got a sneak peek just before the summer started, and is now ready to make it’s worldwide debut.
The new animated series “The Ghost and Molly McGee,” exploring the unlikely friendship between an eternally optimistic girl and a grumpy ghost, will premiere FRIDAY, OCT. 1 @ 935 pm ET.
The animated buddy-comedy follows tween optimist Molly (voiced by Ashly Burch), who lives to make the world a better place, and grumpy ghost Scratch (voiced by Dana Snyder), whose job is to spread misery. When one of Scratch’s curses backfires, he finds himself forever bound to Molly. A production of Disney Television Animation, the series was created by Emmy® Award-winning writing and producing duo Bill Motz and Bob Roth (“LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures”) who both also serve as executive producers alongside Emmy Award winner Steve Loter (“Kim Possible”). Britta Reitman (“Star vs. The Forces of Evil”) serves as producer.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
