Britbox UK has announced a September 11th start date for the second season of Spitting Image. What has not been known is that over the summer, the show was given German syndication that included both German language adaptation of the show’s first season along with sketches made exclusive for Germany featuring brand-new puppets Armin Laschet, Markus Soder and Austria’s chancellor Sebastian Kurz. Whether or not those latter sketches would get redubbed for English as part of the show’s second season, is not yet known. What else isn’t known, whether or not the United States will continue to get new episodes on the Spitting Image Youtube channel. This seems likely as the channel is constantly updated and even now features episodes from the classic run of the series.
In any event, here’s Dominic Cummings and some pals watching the Euros as a bit of a teaser ahead of the show’s upcoming season two premiere.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
