Event News: Futurama Stars Announce Fundraiser ; Netflix’s Geeked Week Has Stacked Panels

Netflix has announced a June 7th-11th run for it’s online Netflix Geeked Week festival where the biggest streamer in the world is slated to showcase first-looks at a number of new series including animated series like The Cuphead Show!, Resident Evil, and Masters of the Universe: Revelation, the latter of which Kevin Smith has been showcasing tears all over his socials

Surely to be part of the event, the crazy as fuck schedule that Netflix is dishing out over the next several months that certainly supersedes anything anybody else is doing right now.

Futurama stars Billy West, Lauren Tom, John DiMaggio, Phil LaMarr, Maurice LaMarche, and show co-creator David X. Cohen are all taking part in an event for charity called Expletive Not Deleted  which is running May 27th @ 8 pm ET. The event is an uncensored outtakes show that is set to help raise money for Field Team 6 which helps Democrats take part in missionary recruits across battleground states in the United States so as to make sure national and local seat holders are blue. What this has to do with Futurama, I don’t know, but who needs a reason for Futurama reunions?
