Infographic: Does Marge & Homer From “The Simpsons” Have The Cheapest TV Wedding Of All-Time?
Raisin UK recently put together a study featuring weddings from all of the top TV shows of all-time. Included in the list are the likes of Jim and Pam’s wedding on The Office, or Monica and Chandler’s wedding on Friends, but it may (or may not) surprise you to learn who had the cheapest wedding in all of TV-lore.
The cheapest wedding on this list was that of Homer & Marge from The Simpsons. The third season episode ‘I Married Marge'(written by Jeff Martin, who just wrote last Sunday’s episode with his daughter Samantha), detailed their budget Vegas wedding, cutting out huge costs and only spending an estimated $270! It’s a good job they’ve been around for more than
thirty years, and had more than enough time to pay off their budget nuptials.
Each wedding cost calculation includes a combination of canon information, cost of real-life venue hire or approximates based upon fictional location and average costs for things like dresses, flowers, transportation and entertainment, and consolidated by Katie, a wedding planner from Albion Parties. All currency conversions correct as of Friday 29th January 2021.
Here’s an infographic breakdown of a bunch of famous weddings.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
