Disney TV Studios Leaks Start For HBO MAX’s “The Prince” ; Could FOX’s “Duncanville” & “Bless The Harts” Be In Trouble?
Disney Television Studios has launched the 2021 edition of their animated “For Your Consideration” page for Emmy voters to consider. Among the list is already renewed series like The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad!, The Great North, Bob’s Burgers, and HBO MAX’s The Prince. A quick gander over to the page, and you’ll notice an April 29th start date for the long-anticipated series, HBO MAX’s The Prince.
What you won’t see is the recently removed pages for Duncanville and Bless The Harts. Now, heed caution, just because those pages have been removed, it doesn’t mean that those shows have been canceled. In fact, you’ll notice another 20th Television co-production in Central Park isn’t listed and that show has already been renewed and has already seen some awards love. That said, it is disconcerting that both of those series aren’t being showcased for consideration for potential award voters, especially Duncanville which I think is still the funniest new series that FOX has green-lit since Bob’s Burgers.
In any event, the fact that we DO seem to have a premiere date for The Prince is awesome, and long overdue, because this one I’m super-duper excited for. Also big shout out to Solar Opposites for getting some love because season two was awesome and was just posted yesterday for your streaming pleasure for Hulu and you can read our review for it here.
Update 4/2: DTS Studios’ website has since updated and removed The Prince premiere date and added back Bless The Harts.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
