AMC Networks Developing Better Call Saul Animated Series For Digital
AMC Networks is developing a new digital series inspired by Better Call Saul that is slated to be available across AMC Digital outlets in the near future. Here’s a synopsis for the show:
Slippin’ Jimmy – An animated series also derived from the world of Saul. It follows the adventures of young Jimmy and Chuck McGill and friends back home in Cicero, IL. Created in the retro style of Fat Albert, each episode nods to everything from spaghetti Westerns to Buster Keaton to After Hours.
Our Take
AMC Networks has been increasingly busy in the animation space. Pantheon is currently in production, and the network has also ordered Stoopid Buddy Stoodios’ Mega City Smiths.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
