Funimation Announces Adachi and Shimamura English Dub Premiere Date
Despite the Winter storm hitting Texas, Funimation is still trucking along with posting English dubs from home which now includes a new entry coming Thursday, February 18th in the form of Adachi and Shimamura. The series was animated by Tezuka Productions and directed by Satoshi Kuwabara, with Keiichirō Ōchi handling series composition, and Shizue Kaneko designing the characters.Natsumi Tabuchi, Hanae Nakamura, and Miki Sakurai composed the music. Synopsis:
Adachi spends her school days skipping class until she meets fellow delinquent Shimamura and the two become fast friends. Cutting class together deepens their friendship but soon unexpected emotions blossom. As awkwardness and confusion settle in, the two girls travel this sea of emotions without a paddle as they learn about each other’s feelings.
