Review: Lazor Wulf “Prolly For The Better?” ; “Keep Going”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Prolly for the Better?
Gawd can’t win any contests against the current Wulf gang but once won a belt against their ancestor Infinite Wulf. The gang opts to challenge so as to right the one wrong of their career. The game? Rock, paper, scissors best 2/3. The loser doesn’t get to show up in the next episode of Lazor Wulf. After the first two rounds, the match up is split, but Lazor wins and brings home the belt. Turns out, Lazor Wulf was scripted to win this entire time, had Gawd actually showed up to the table reads, he’d have a better chance.
Keep Going
Lazor Wulf thinks that Carl Weathers murdered Action Jackson and he’s investigating the case. It takes a while, but we learn that Carl is up to something and may have murdered Lazor Wulf. Fortunately, that was a stunt double and the case of Action Jackson still goes unsolved until Carl comes clean and is arrested.
Our Take
I was today years old when I realized the episode titles are the same as the show’s first season. You may recall Action Jackson being part of the show’s first season, but I think season two saw his level of insanity increased tenfold. Same with Gawd, voiced by Reginald VelJohnson, who is a bit more ornery than usual. This week provides for two solid episodes with chock full of juicy and all around hilarity. I still go gaga over the visual aesthetic of the series, and the visual aids that go along with the silly dialogue. Everything happens for a reason in Lazor Wulf, we just may not always know for what reason.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
