Adult Swim Announces Digital Festival 2020 Schedule
Adult Swim has released the full schedule for their upcoming festival happening this Friday and Saturday which will now include panels featuring Aqua Teen, Lazor Wulf, Rick and Morty, and Tuca & Bertie. Heavy metal fans are in for a real treat because we’re getting musical performances from Mastodon, a new song from the Deftones, and a watch party for Metalocalypse to go along with other watch parties for Samurai Jack, Primal, Yolo, and Space Ghost. Numerous merch giveaways galore on a free event that will be streamed on Youtube.
Our Take
The thing I’m most disappointed by is the lack of coverage of any pilots or brand-new series that Adult Swim may be premiering during the Winter 2020/2021 season. That said, Adult Swim Festival has quite a lot going for it, and it’s FREE!! I wasn’t doing anything anyway, so why not get in on the fun?

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
