Review: Craig of the Creek “Fall Anthology”
Overview
In an attempt to finish a school project, Craig remembers some of his favorite Fall moments leading to a fun series of short stories that are all fall-related.
Our Take
This was more of a fun episode though most of it stems from Craig’s mom & brother pointing out things worth thinking about that’s primarily used as the framing device as Craig is having a moment of introspection about the season of autumn/fall. But the heart of it was Craig asking himself what does the fall season mean to him? What important moments in his life does he associate it with?
It’s also a very introspective thing for the audience to also to think about as we ourselves have had moments during the fall we enjoyed or still enjoy. For many of us, it’s more than just a seasonal gimmicky drink or food that’s synonymous with anything pumpkin-spice or apple-cider. But I think my favorite joke within the episode was something J.P. Says about dry lips that caught me off guard.
Overall, this was a short but fun episode that I think it helps remind us that not everything about the changing seasons has to be terrible, and while a child’s mind sometimes has a tendency to make up embellishments or exaggerations, those unexpected experiences end up being the ones that leave a lasting impression.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
