Watch: Kyle Kinane ‘TRAMPOLINE IN A DITCH’ animated short
Kyle Kinane has a new album out entitled Trampoline in a Ditch. Kyle has four albums, three specials and many film and TV credits under his belt so this time he decided to do things a little differently. He approached Meister Studios in Portland to animate several “bits” from Trampoline in a Ditch, and the result is great! In fact, the animation premiered on Vice, and this week was made a Vimeo Staff Pick.
Says Meister Studios of the video:
Comedian Kyle Kinane approached MEISTER to create an animation to promote the launch of Kyle’s new album, “Trampoline in a Ditch.” Kyle and his team were very open about letting MEISTER loose with this project.
After listening to the album, we were asked to pick a track and develop treatments and concepts that could bring some additional color to Kyle’s voice. Ultimately we landed on a Stop Motion animation inspired 3D Lottery Ball world and a semi-traditional 2D animation that asked the hard questions about ‘Where did do all the old Kyles go?’. We story-boarded, developed styleframes, animated, modeled, rigged, texture, etc — we did every part of the project you see here in the final 2:00 video
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
