Watch: Katy Perry’s “Smile” Video Takes Page Out Of “Wreck-It Ralph”
Produced by Nathon Love, Katy Perry is seen in a new hybrid music video for her new track “Smile” which comes off of the track-titled record of the same name on August 28th via Universal Music.
The video features what appears to be an ode to Wreck-It Ralph in that Katy is seen playing an action-packed racing game with cute characters not unlike the climax to the aforementioned Disney feature film. Not surprisingly, the new track features a dozen writers as part of it’s production credits along to go with a multitude of singles which should make it a shoo-in for a Grammy nomination for “Best Writing” which would probably go to Perry for that reason.
