Olan Rogers Details Updates For “Final Space” Season Three (And Also Name Drops Season Four)
Olan Rogers is back in the news to give us a very important update…writing has been completed on Final Space season three, and all episodes are now in various stages of production from storyboarding to animatics with some episodes expected to be completed by October. It sounds like we’re still on track for the Q1 2021 premiere frame, but it’s not like Olan’s sitting on his ass for those fan deliverables he promised a couple of months ago. Instead, we’ve got quite a few updates.
First thing’s first, Olan is teasing a merchandise overhaul that will kick off with the numerous multi-media offerings incoming including the previously announced Blu-Ray release, the music soundtrack for season one (which sounds like it’s coming along quite well), and toys. As previously mentioned, Funko won’t be toying the action figures for Final Space, but Olan says he’s close to closing on TWO different companies producing lines which should be fun.
Last, but not least, Olan is already teasing writing to commence on Final Space season four which could mean shorter wait times between seasons which, personally, I think is a great idea…especially with a show with an upcoming season that Rogers is already touting to have some deep arcs. This to add to the creator’s other series Lion’s Blaze which Olan recently promised is a somewhat visual departure from Final Space and, last we heard is currently being shopped.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
