FunimationCon 2020: “Attack on Titan” cast Attack on The First Three Seasons
Attack on Titan hasn’t been in the spotlight for a few months now, but this year will see the show return one last time for its final season to wrap everything up in one giant naked person bow. In the meantime, some of the cast was brought together to look back on their own memories with the show as both fans and actors, as well as get prepared for the upcoming final season. Here are some of the highlights:
On Mike McFarland’s (Jean) reaction to the Titans in the walls at the end of Season 1:
“When I saw that, I had been keeping up with the manga, but hadn’t been reading too far ahead. So when I saw that particular thing, I hadn’t read past the show. ‘Is that a cool post-credit ending to the show or…is it a plot point?’ I was confused.”
On Bryce Papenbrook’s (Eren) reaction to Reiner and Bertholdt revealing themselves as Titans:
“I reacted like Eren did in the show. ‘What are they talking about?!’ Did not see that coming. I just love how nonchalant it was. This is one of the biggest mysteries of the show and THAT’S how they’re gonna tell you it. And I just love it.”
On Trina Nishimura’s (Mikasa) reaction to Mikasa’s confession of love and Eren controlling Titans:
“I think that Eren is…driven by emotion all the time, but I think that moment for me as Mikasa, that’s her moment where her feelings have changed and evolved and she’s trying to tell him and he’s like ‘yeah, let’s do it bro!’ and I’m like ‘did you miss it?’ And I was talking to Bryce and he’s like ‘Missed what?’”
On Brynn April’s (Historia) reaction to Historia learning her family history and killing her father and how that impacted her performance:
“It did, I think I’ve progressively voiced her different with every new discovery that we’ve made about her…You’ll notice a very drastic shift from ‘Christa’ to ‘Historia’. Where Christa was the very positive wallflower who didn’t want to be noticed where Historia is not afraid to say anything. In this moment, I thought it was interesting that the way it was written, “the first fight with my father”, that it was portraying it as typical teenage angst, and here’s that moment where she’s slaying him. I thought that was so interesting, the parallels between a typical teenage fight and this absurdism of the battle between the two of them.”

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
