Final Space Season Three: Updates On When, How, And Why The New Season Will Drop
The one and only Olan Rogers is keeping busy this last week taking part in numerous AMA’s despite working feverishly on production for Final Space Season Three, and we’ve got updates that you should know about.
For starters, barring delay, it sounds like Final Space seasons one and two on home media will be released sometime in July. Olan is also teasing a couple of new Mooncake plushes that should be made available by the time you start working on your Christmas list.
On a recent podcast, Olan spilled the beans on a bunch of behind-the-scenes notes regarding production of the show and what we can expect in upcoming seasons including a different side to “Gary” than what we’ve seen before and a further expansion on “Ventrexia”. It’s also interesting to hear just how deep the various networks get into the minutiae of the series’s production which can be a lot of give-and-take depending on the scenario.
A recent AMA on Discord, Olan definitely sounds like he’s doing his best to balance fans’ expectations of “Gary” versus his own, and that with season two being more episodic and less serial, the lead character probably suffered the most (which sounds like a network call more than anything else).
Speaking of networks, Olan is still hearing a release of a teaser trailer before the end of the year with a likely premiere to happen sometime during Q1 of 2021 with the show debuting new episodes on Adult Swim, then going to TBS, then HBO MAX with Netflix continuing to get international distribution. Whether this holds true as the launch of HBO MAX comes heretofore, could be anyone’s guess.
Synopsis:
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
