We Rank the Five Shorts from Rooster Teeth’s “Anim Jam”
1) Scale
This one was pretty much a no-brainer, given that it’s the longest of the entries at four and a half minutes and therefore has the time to flesh out its pitch far more than the others. But it’s also kind of cheating, since it’s pretty much just an animatic and apparently was worked on well before this week, but it’s what we got and what we got is good. Centering on a furry girl named Tack camping out with her mentor Thorn to become a “Seeker of Beasts”, this short gives us a really solid idea of how its show would play out, as well as endearing us to Tack’s journey and actually unique character type among other Rooster Teeth animation protagonists. It also gives a far clearer look into its world than the other shorts, but again, it has more time too.
And speaking of which, if you have like a half hour to spare, I fully suggest you take a good look at each of these shorts, because they could be the next new thing for RT Animation in the near future.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
