HBO MAX Gets Launch Date

Anyone who thought that the long-awaited May release of HBO MAX would be like, May 1st, is going to be sorely disappointed when you learn that the new streaming service from WarnerMedia is set to drop May 27th. Those who already have HBONow don’t have to do a thing because your service will automatically transfer over.

Coming with HBO MAX is a bunch of library across the gamut of WarnerMedia’ s streaming services that will soon be consolidated to just this one which includes Crunchyroll, DC Universe, Rooster Teeth, and VRV, but with the added bonus of having acquired and original series like South Park, Rick and Morty, Close Enough, and The Boondocks which is slated to premiere this fall. HBO MAX also has pilot orders for various animated series like Circus Gomez and is rumored to be the new home of Final Space next year.
