Fall Out Boy Debuts “Mondo Trasho 3042” Animated Series
There have been numerous attempts to do animated series inspired by music acts. The most successful example today is the Gorillaz, but other obvious examples include Metalocalypse and the like. Enter a new fighter into the arena from Fall Out Boy lead guitarist Joe Trohman who has brought us ten episodes of a brand-new animated series called Mondo Trasho 3042.
Evidently, Joe got together with some friends to work on a cartoon. They considered pitching it around to different places, but decided to release it during these crazy times for your enjoyment.
The premise of the show should be familiar to anybody who has ever been in a band growing up or is a deep fan of music controversies. In-fighting about girls, making it big, and of course aliens (see: Blink-182) are topics that lend themselves to the mantra “this band should just break up”, but here we are. Check out all of the episodes below.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
