American Dad’s 2020 Return Date/Time Announced For TBS
Set to return April 13th @ 10 pm ET/PT for TBS will be all-new episodes of American Dad!.
The first few new episodes will actually wrap the show’s 16th season before giving way to the show’s 17th season officially but TBS may promote it all the same. The return episode is entitled “100 Years A Solid Fool”. American Dad has already been ordered for two additional seasons. This year marks the 15th anniversary of Seth MacFarlane’s award-winning satirical animated comedy, and on Monday, September 14 the series will air its milestone 300th episode.
The Weeknd is guest-starring in the premiere episode that he also co-wrote. The Weeknd has also co-written an original song that will be part of the episode premiering in May. Jane Lynch, Patton Oswalt, Ron Perlman, Craig Robinson, Criss Angel, and Bill Nye will also guest star in the upcoming season.
In celebration of American Dad!’s 15th anniversary, TBS will air a curated selection of episodes focusing on different characters each day, handpicked by the series’ producers, Tuesday – Friday from 4:00 – 6:00pm ET / PT, April 14 – 17 and April 21 – 24. Following that, the official American Dad! 15th anniversary marathon featuring the series co-creator’s top 15 favorite episodes will take place on Monday, April 27 from 2:30 – 10:00pm ET / PT.
Synopsis:
A CIA agent will do anything to protect his homeland and family, which includes his wife, his liberal daughter, his socially awkward son, a goldfish with the brain of a human, and an escaped alien from Area 51.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
