Six Animated Films to Watch While Quarantined
Anomalisa (US)
Like most of Charlie Kaufman’s films, Anomalisa attracted dishearteningly little attention during the awards season in which it debuted, and has since faded far into the subconscious of both casual viewers and cinephiles alike, which is a travesty because the American screenwriter’s most current film is as original as any of its predecessors. Visualizing the protagonist’s manic depression by reusing the same model for every side and background character that appears in the story, Kaufman and co-director Duke Johnson fuse form and function flawlessly. On top of that, the film is also pretty much an adult version of Chicken Run—not because it has anything to do with chickens, but because it’s made using clay models which may or may not make love with each other at some point.
You can watch Anomalisa on Amazon Prime, Vudu, and Crackle.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
