Netflix News: Sol Levante Delayed ; Ghost in the Shell: SAC _2045 and Baki Season Two Get Start Dates
If you were like me and woke up this morning to check Netflix to see if Sol Levante was there, well, it’s not premiering just yet. Instead, Netflix Japan has announced that the worldwide debut has been delayed by two weeks to April 2nd.
Sol Levante is an upcoming anime series being created by Netflix and Production I.G. The series is planning on being the first anime series hand-drawn 4k HDR quality.
Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045 has been given a start date of April 23rd by Netflix. “Ghost in the Shell”, a landmark in near-future science fiction, brings together Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki as they present their vision of the year 2045 in Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. Led by full-body cyborg Motoko Kusanagi, Public Security Section 9 once again gets ready to face off against cybercrime.
Baki Season Two has been given a June 4th start date by Netflix.
The series adapts the Most Evil Death Row Convicts Saga of the second manga series. The protagonist, Baki Hanma, trains with an intense focus to become strong enough to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma, the strongest fighter in the world. Five of the world’s most violent and brutal death row inmates are gathering to face Baki. Their objective is to taste defeat – their unmatched strength and skill have led them to grow bored of life itself, and they now seek out Baki in the hopes that he can overwhelm and utterly crush them. In this crisis, other underground martial art warriors gather to fight by Baki’s side: Doppo Orochi, Kaoru Hanayama, Goki Shibukawa, and Kaioh Retsu.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
