Comedy Central Quietly Delays “Crank Yankers” Spring 2020 Premiere

Crank Yankers was set to resume it’s fifth season tonight with the start of ten new episodes, however, it appears Comedy Central is delaying the premiere. When the show is coming is a bit confusing right now, as my local TV listings say March 24th @ 1030 pm ET/PT, whereas the Comedy Central website says March 31st. We’ll keep our ears peeled and our eyes open with any updates.

No news has been given about any delays having to do with coronavirus. Show co-creator Jimmy Kimmel’s late night talk show is currently on hiatus along with a slew of other TV and film productions. More as it develops.

For those that don’t know, created by Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison, Crank Yankers makes all the crank phone calls you wish you’d made when you were a kid. Among the regular pranksters are show creators Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla with characters featured on the show on a regular basis include Special Ed, Elmer and Bobby Fletcher.
