English Dub Review: Plunderer “Don’t Apologize, Apologize!”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Licht and Jail continue their battle that nearly ends in Licht losing, but he’s able to get out and save Lynn at the same time. We learn about Jail’s actual number being 12500 and that chances are Licht was holding back all of his power in his battle against Jail who he could’ve easily overtaken. The episode wraps with Licht falling from the sky and claiming Lynn is a fat girl and Jail showing a bit of a soft spot for those in need.
Our Take
Since when did Lynn turn into the “Meg” of this show? This isn’t the first time she’s been the subject of somewhat condescending dialogue. That said, she seems to have an impact on Licht’s number because whenever he strikes out with her, his number drops though is still strong enough to be feared by Jail.
The shonen action bits are a bit boring compared to what else is out there and I care less about the scoring than I do about the supporting characters whom are actually quite enjoyable.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
