The Video Games Most In Need Of Getting An Animated Series Adaptation
ToeJam & Earl
ToeJam & Earl was an entry in Sega’s library that felt like one of the crowning distinctions in how they were different than Nintendo. The action-platformer titles don’t offer particularly deep gameplay, but there’s an addictive story and memorable characters in place that earned the game its several sequels and follow-ups. The premise of alien rappers who crash land on Earth and are put on a music-based mission already feels like a storyline from an episode of Rick and Morty, which is why Justin Roiland would be particularly appropriate for a ToeJam & Earl animated series. All of Roiland’s various animated series and contributions seem to represent the same acerbic and eccentric sense of humor that’s present in ToeJam & Earl. Roiland is someone who absolutely delights in the nonsensical and there’s just so much of that in ToeJam & Earl. It’d be very entertaining to watch this unusual duo slowly acclimate to Earth and invade the music industry.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
