“Rick and Morty” Comics Will Live! (Kind Of)

This should make the The Maruaders happy.

News came out earlier this year that Oni Press was ending the Rick and Morty proper comics series with issue #60 in March. Fortunately, the publisher has announced that Rick and Morty won’t come out of print that easy with the news of TWO projects.

First up, Rick and Morty: Go To Hell sees the titular characters get trapped in hell across a five-issue series written by Ryan Ferrier and drawn by Constanza Oroza. Next, a new one-shot called Rick and Morty: Council of Ricks. According to SyfyWire who broke the story, the one-shot is written by Jake Goldman, drawn by Philip Murphy with covers by Julia Scott, and it sounds like a brilliant bit of a convoluted Rick and Morty brand of chaos as Rick Prime is hired by Prime Rickminister to figure out who has been making and is behind the counterfeit Ricks and is selling them to planets of rich idiots who are in need of a genius.

Our Take

With the second-half of the fourth season of Rick and Morty not here yet, this should help hold fans over.
