HBO Developing “Circus Gomez” Animated Comedy Series Centered Around Mexican Family
HBO has put into development a new pilot for an animated series called Circus Gomez.
The animated comedy follows a Mexican-American family (and their pet monkey) in a traveling circus. The series comes from creator Isaac Gonzalez who is writing the pilot episode and has previously worked on other animated comedies including Bordertown and Legends of Chamberlain Heights. Isaac also has a second animated comedy in development that has not been revealed.
The last time HBO has had an original animated series on it’s network was Animals which was canceled after three seasons.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
