FOX Nabs “BoJack Horseman” Voice For New Animated Comedy “Temporary Humans”
BoJack Horseman is set to finale at the end of the month, but that doesn’t mean the voice of the show’s titular character is slowing down anytime soon. Variety is reporting that Will Arnett (“BoJack”) is developing a new animated series for FOX called Temporary Humans with Sony, Electric Avenue, and FOX Entertainment producing.
BoJack Horseman follows Jake, a hapless twenty something who rescues a naked amnesiac, Sammy, from an explosion in a lake and makes him his roommate.
Our Take
If this series comes to fruition, this is FOX’s direct missile shot at Netflix. While FOX had previously dominated the primetime animation industry for the better part of 30 years, Netflix has been the more recent king, headed by Arnett’s BoJack Horseman. Maybe Temporary Humans can be the new spot to go to for the die-hard Arnett fans out there.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
