“Rick and Morty” Teaming Up With Pringles For Super Bowl Spot
Super Bowl Sunday is February 2nd in Miami and set to air on FOX, but don’t expect any of the FOX Animation characters getting a Super Bowl ad other than your normal local advertisements. Instead, it’s Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty that will be featured as part of a promotion with Pringles. Not only is there a food spot, but Pringles is releasing a “Pickle Rick” inspired flavor of the yummy snacks that will be made available nationwide.
The “Pickle Rick” flavor is obviously inspired by the Emmy-winning “Pickle Rick” episode that saw Rick turn into a pickle in an attempt to avoid a therapy session with his family. The fourth season of Rick and Morty premiered in November and the debut episode was illegally uploaded to Pornhub which incidentally helped make Rick and Morty one of the most searched titles on the website for 2019.
In Rick and Morty, mad scientist Rick Sanchez moves in with his daughter’s family after disappearing for 20 years and involves them in his wacky adventures in this animated comedy.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
