“Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina” Gets Two Season Order For Amazon
The one-time Kickstarter sensation that accrued nearly $12 million to create an animated pilot inspired by a Dungeons & Dragons live show, Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina has been ordered for two seasons with 12 episodes a piece by way of Titmouse and written by Jennifer Muro all by Amazon Prime Video.
The adult animated series will see everyone (Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham) reprise their Vox Machina roles, the latter of whom will also be part of a new deal with Amazon’s Twitch service for a live role-playing show inspired by the popular franchise. Kickstarter contributors will get to see a first-look at the animated series before anybody else. Here’s the animated intro for the show.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
