Naruto News: Ninja Run in Philly Against ICE ; Voice of “Kankuro” Passes
Even though it was called The Naruto Run to Shut Down DHS ICE Philadelphia, from the looks of the story on the Philadelphia Inquirer, the event was a 75-person Comic-Con just without a Comic-Con. In any case, the organized event was both a tribute to the titular character for Naruto and as a means to protest the Philadelphia chapter of ICE all at the same time.
Some sad news from the world of English dub casting. Retired voice actor Michael Lindsay passed away over the weekend at the age of 56. Best known for his English dubbed voice roles in such fare as Bleach ( Kisuke Urahara) and Naruto (Kankuro), additional information about Michael’s passing was unknown at the time of print.
