English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon II “A Fleeting Dream”
Synopsis (Spoilers Below)
Things have gotten interesting now that the Hestia Familia knows about Ishtar’s plot to wage war against Freya. Bell and Mikoto eventually escape the Ishtar palace (with Bell nearly being consumed by an amazon that resembles Jabba the Hut) due to Haruhime’s assistance, but Bell is reluctant to part with her, telling the renard that he and Mikoto have almost enough money to buy her freedom. Nevertheless, Haruhime is resigned to her fate and is adamant that she will eventually die under Ishtar’s control. And you know what else? Ishtar needs a renard’s soul to fuel the ultimate weapon to take down Freya.
Our Take
This episode was tense. Especially now we know that Haruhime’s life is in danger for perhaps the most extreme and deranged reasons. I mean, Haruhime has been nothing but a cinnamon roll since her debut. Of course some viewers will be up in arms if something were to happen to her (well, me at least). We also get to see that Ishtar is a sadistic and callous deity who absolutely no qualms sacrificing own of her own in exchange for power. Also, kudos to whoever provided/composed the soundtrack for the episode. It definitely helped in escalating the already high drama.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
