English Dub Review: Ensemble Stars “Counterattack”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
The Student Council is drowning in its losses but it’s DDD day and Trickstar needs to ASSEMBLE!! This after a brief hostage scare that saw a couple of the Trickstar members preoccupied elsewhere. The Usetai is the chief competition but other music groups are being inspired by Trickstar to fight against the competition and expose their chief weakness. Finally, Trickstar and Love Stage Rabbit battle it out, but the two groups are friends so they promise “no funny business”. Next week, we’ll find out the winner!
Our Take
These rich preppie kids are going bananas and I’m all here for it. Flying in on blimps, holding each other hostage, everyone’s off their rocker in this fucking place. It’s funny to watch on a meta-level because I certainly don’t care about any of the musical performances in the Japanese language, however, the actual production put into the musical performances continue to be strong.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
