“The Flintstones” Heading to MeTV
The one and only The Flintstones, is heading to syndicated television happening on September 30th @ 6pm ET/PT with back-to-back episodes on what will be the show’s 59th anniversary.
The Flintstones is the original primetime animated sitcom that was produced by Hanna-Barbera starting in the 1960s. The series followed The Flintstones family in the town of Bedrock, including Fred, Wilma, and Dino for a couple of seasons until Pebbles would join. The Flintstones live next door to Fred’s best buddy Barney and his family, the Rubbles including Betty and eventually including Bamm-Bamm.
The series was essentially a prehistoric take on The Honeymooners in that we got a parody of modern-life in the 1960s told in a prehistoric setting. A lot of the conventions that were presented in The Flintstones for an animated comedy are still seen today in the likes of The Simpsons and Family Guy.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
