Major Lazer Joins Fortnite In Ode To The Excellent Animated Series

I hope people are still playing Fortnite, because now you can play as Major Lazer! That’s right, players can get access to new movesets, skin, and even some sick beats to go along with it.

As you can see, the depiction of Major Lazer borrows heavily from the excellent FXX animated series derived from the name sake of the DJ group that comprises of Diplo, Ape Drums, and Waltzy Fire. The animated series was set in the future where Major Lazer is a Jamaican superhero with a laser gun for a right hand who fights against the dystopian forces led by Jamaica’s leader President Whitewall and his servant General Rubbish. Major Lazer is assisted in his fight by President Whitewall’s daughter Penny Whitewall and hacker Blkmrkt. The series was actually renewed for a second season until FXX decided to be moronic and do away with the entire Animation Domination Hi-Def block instead. Since then there have been rumors of a potential revival.

In the meantime, this Fortnite DLC is as good as it’s gonna get for now!
