Review: The Amazing World of Gumball “The Web”
You’ve killed all my boys.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Mom doesn’t know anything about the internet and neither do any of her co-workers. Gumball and Darwin try their best to teach their mom and her co-workers best practices, instead, they just give them throwback instruments.
Our Take
The premise was very simple but well thought out and super funny. The producers put a lot of thought and attention to detail in teaching today’s youth about yesterday’s internet. Older fans will surely have fun at reliving some of the internet’s earliest sensations all the way from way back in the nineties! It’s a hilarious trip down memory lane served up with laughs. Yes, some of the ideas of it being modern times and Nicole not understanding basic internet principles doesn’t seem plausible. That said, I do think there were important tips for novice web swingers to learn that could service multiple generations.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
