Review: We Bare Bears “Imaginary Friend”
Everybody needs a best friend.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Remember the Power Rangers? Welp, the baby bears get inspired by their show’s take on the popular franchise and opt to make a super team of their own. To do that, they need to do a few things: 1) Use their imagination for villains and settings and 2) get an imaginary fourth member. That imaginary member is a “Silver Bear” who, at first, is a hero but soon turns foe after cracking some kid over the head with a chop. With the power of imaginary teamwork, the Bears win out and make a new “friend” in the process.
Our Take
We’ve seen a number of shows show their love to Power Rangers, Voltron, GoBots, etc etc, and We Bare Bears nails it. THESE guys went out and hired on Jason David Frank as the “Silver Bear” and as such is an early runner for the best guest spot of the 2019 season. Top off the fact that we got the baby bears taking part in a stellar giant bot battle that was so perfect for where the producers were trying to go all the while not forgetting the important conventions that We Bare Bears had set prior. The 2019 year is kicking off strong for the bears, and we can’t wait to see what else is on the way.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
