English Dub Review: Space Battleship TIRAMISU “BATTLE OF THE HEKATONKHEIRES PART I”

Overview (Spoilers Below)
The HEKATONKHEIRES is the name of Cadillac’s new ship that he’s hoping to use to destroy Earth due to the fact that he’s not interested whatsoever in showing up for his court summons. The Earth Order can’t stop him, but what if Isuzu and his family teamed up? We’ll have to find out next week!
Our Take
This week’s episode probably focused more on story building than most episodes of Space Battleship, but, that doesn’t mean we didn’t have any fun. The clear influences from Star Blazers are all over the place including the plot to THIS fucking episode right here which clearly has 2199 written all over it. Cadillac going into a rage when his apartment belongings are tossed onto the curb is great and so is Isuzu getting the e-bomb filled with porn. All good stuff and a compelling set up for next week’s finale that I’m eagerly anticipating.
