Netflix Announces “Ghost in the Shell” Reboot
It’s about time.
Netflix has announced that a new Ghost in the Shell animated project is in the works for a 2020 bow. The world’s largest streaming service issued the following announcement and, the best part, it’s not going to be a live-action anything. Instead, it’s going to be an animated project with a bunch of some of the best in the biz producing including Production IG. Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is the name of the new project and from what Netflix is insinuating, this thing’s gonna take animation to another level. It is gonna take a bit for the project to come out, but Netflix has a slew of anime on the way to look forward to.
YES, A NEW GHOST IN THE SHELL ANIME IS COMING.
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 will be directed by Appleseed’s Shinji Aramaki and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex’s Kenji Kamiyama. On @Netflix in 2020!
