Review: The Loud House “Really Loud Music”
Time to get loud.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
In this week’s very special musical episode, Luna decides to enter into a musical contest America’s Next Hitmaker and after spending half of the episode mulling over the type of episode to submit, she finally picks one and is entered into the finalists for the competition. Problem is, the judges Michelle Lewis and Doug Rockwell want to change Luna’s image and turn her into more of a “pop” star. When it comes time to perform, Luna decides to just be herself and she rocks the place!
Our Take
Most, if not all of the songs, during the 30-minute Loud special, are truly forgettable, BUT, the “Really Loud” song and accompanying video was excellent and by far the highlights of the episode. In fact, there’s a punchline uttered by Doug Rockwell, “you should be at America’s Next Headbangers down the street”, and I think that should be a sequel episode for next year because if we were to get a whole episode of the rock songs instead of the hammy pop shit that we ended up getting I think we would’ve had a more well-rounded episode. I actually think we also spent TOO much time in getting to the competition, and as such, would’ve liked to have seen more activities surrounding it i.e. additional contestants, more inclusion of the other Louds, etc. What we get is a mixed bag effort.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
