A peace treaty has been in effect for hundreds of years to prevent a war between Earth and the Black World. Although it’s set to be renewed, evil forces want to make sure that doesn’t happen. To ensure it does, hard-bitten human Taki Renzaburo (Greg Snegoff) and sexy demon Makie (Alexandra Kenworthy) are charged with protecting a diplomat, Mayart (Mike Reynolds), who holds the key to peace. But, with an army of multidimensional assassins on their trail, it won’t be easy.
Wicked City is a 1987 Japanese OVA neo-noir horror film produced by Video Art and Madhouse for Japan Home Video. Based on Black Guard, the first in a series of six novels of the same name by Hideyuki Kikuchi, the film is the solo directorial debut of Yoshiaki Kawajiri, who also served as the screenwriter (attributed to a pseudonym), character designer, storyboard artist, animation director and a key animator.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
