Review: Turbo Fantasy “Real Super Powers”
Be a real hero.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Greggy comes up with a solution to turn Turbo into a REAL superhero with REAL superpowers, but it’s Colin that gets into it. Turns out, Colin talks a big game, but when his serum wears off he can’t back it up, so the team sticks together thick and thin.
Our Take
Colin is so cynical, he’s easily the best part of the show. In this day and age of superhero movies going left and right, this show is decidedly an anti-superhero but still a hero show. Nobody actually fights crimes here, it’s just nonsense with throwback sensibilities to the old-school Youtube cartoon days where you could just post up anything and be done with it. Not saying Turbo Fantasy is soulless, but it’s such a contrast to what’s being streamed nowadays.
Score
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
