English Dub Review: The Wakos
With the third season here, should you invest?
Imagine if Dr. Katz, Professional Therapists dealt with parodies of celebrity pop culture references, and that’s what The Wakos is. Produced by the one and only Balak, each episode sees highly stylized sendups featuring the likes of Where’s Waldo, Super Mario Bros., The Little Mermaid, usually coming into the office where our narrator attempts to console the lot of them before they have a nervous breakdown.
In terms of visual presentation, the series is crude with a stationary background that serves its purpose in reminding viewers where we are…a small office setting for the purpose of therapy sessions that could involve multiple patients all with their own list of problems. Whether it’s trying to finish high school or complaining about siblings, The Wakos features a wide variety of topics that should keep viewers entertained. It also doesn’t take long before you start to see recurring characters, but over the course of a few seasons, you’ll get a full litany of familiar faces that should keep even the most ardent viewer copasetic.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
