“Futurama” Cast/Crew Headed To ATX Festival 2018
Who will be there?
Futurama cast members Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman along with EP David X. Cohen and some surprise guests are scheduled for an appearance at the ATX Festival which will run from June 7th through the 10th where both a live table read of an episode and a Q&A will commence. Hulu, the exclusive American streaming home of Futurama, is sponsoring the event.
Synopsis
Accidentally frozen, pizza-deliverer Fry wakes up 1,000 years in the future. He is taken in by his sole descendant, an elderly and addled scientist who owns a small cargo delivery service. Among the other crew members is Capt. Leela, accountant Hermes, intern Amy, obnoxious robot Bender and lobsterlike moocher “Dr.” Zoidberg.
Our Take
Clearly missing are John DiMaggio (voice of Bender) and Katey Sagal (Leela), however, the “surprise guests” note gives me hope that they will be added otherwise this is a rather disappointing event from the get-go.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
